The Ironbark Toolworks Double Square was invented by starting with the end goal and then figuring out how to make it. The size needed to be small enough to get into areas that are a challenge to measure with other tools. The materials had to be robust enough to last rough handling eliminating easy to machine Aluminum or plastics. One surface should be flat to allow placement on a flat surface. The direct measurement should allow an accuracy appropriate for the job at hand with the ability to measure more accurately.

- Direct measurement of 0.500mm with vernier to measure 0.050mm (50um).
- Solid Brass body machined from one piece with guaranteed parallelism. (12 x 9 x 42mm)
- Blades made from Stainless steel: standard blade 3 x 9 x 70mm; micro blade 2 x 3 x 70mm.
- Micro-Blade made with EDM to prevent stress induced longitudinal distortions.
Common uses: Depth gauge, Tool calibration, Marking gauge, Small feature inspection/verification.
Includes both the standard 3x9mm blade and the 2x3mm micro blade in a convenient holder.
